GYFXY All-Dielectric Central Tube Cable
Product Overview
GYFXY cable places 250 µm fibers into a central loose tube of high-modulus material filled with water-blocking compound. Water-swellable material is applied over the tube for longitudinal water blocking, and two parallel glass-fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP) members are placed on both sides before a polyethylene sheath is extruded. Being fully non-metallic, it is suited to lightning-prone areas, high-voltage environments and routes where induction on metallic parts must be avoided.
