GYDXTW / GYXTZW Ribbon Fiber Cable
Product Overview
GYDXTW / GYXTZW cable places 12-fiber ribbons into a central loose tube of high-modulus material filled with water-blocking compound. A layer of corrugated coated steel tape (PSP) is applied longitudinally over the tube, with water-swellable material between tape and tube to keep the cable compact and longitudinally water-tight; two parallel steel wires are placed on both sides and a polyethylene sheath is extruded. The ribbon construction gives very high fiber density in a small diameter, which suits data centres, metropolitan backbones and high-count distribution routes.
